CHASTAIN GETS TRUCK POLE

ROSS CHASTAIN/No.19 DrawTite Ford has the pole for Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 19th Annual Lucas Oil 150 race at Phoenix International Raceway. His fastest lap was 26.987/133.398 mph. Chastain drives for Brad Keselowski Racing.

Top Rookie, DARRELL WALLACE JR/NO.54 ToyotaCare Toyota – Kyle Busch Motorsports will start thirteenth of 36 drivers. So far this year he’s won one race, had one pole, five top five finishes, twelve top ten finishes, with an average finish of 12.150. He’s led 340 laps. His three DNF’s were from accidents. The twenty-year old driver hails from Mobile AL.

It is a one-day event for the Trucks – Friday only for Practice, Qualifying and Racing. Due to time constraints, no drivers are brought to the Media Center. Immediately after qualifying the cars were impounded, along with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West cars.
