One of the many great things about wandering through the paddock at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and Pre-Reunion events is the growing number of cool, classic cars (and motorcycles, bicycles, etc.) that are filling in the nooks and crannies. Originally started by STEVE EARLE, the grandfather of American historic races, as he thought it was cool to see the vehicles drivers and entrants drove/brought to the classic car events. Little by little he allowed more of them to be parked in the paddock, and now it’s customary at Northern California historic events to have a special category and parking pass for them.
