Monday at dusk inside the Hilbert Theatre in downtown Indianapolis, INDYCAR CEO, RANDY BERNARD, started and ended the State of INDYCAR 2012 presentation – a glitzy, fast-moving presentation with lot of visuals, special effects, and information.
The belated awards from the 2011 season were presented, along with good stats from the 2011 season, announcements regarding the 2012 series, and goals for 2013 and going forward.
The event provided media opportunities with many drivers, INDYCAR staff, sponsors, etc. And, for the first time, the public was invited to attend – the balcony was filled with INDYCAR fans.
The entire proceedings were all live-streamed world-wide for those who were unable to attend, and translated into fifty languages. And for those who missed it, the event will be archived on the INDYCAR website.
