GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!

Peacock

This peacock greeted me this morning as I walked into the Surfer’s Paradise circuit for the second day of the three-day Armor All Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars weekend.

The sun was shining and hot, with fluffy white clouds scattered about. There was sunscreen packets being handed out everywhere.

Last night as I left, I saw that the timing loop in Turn Two was being moved. Easier said than done. Looked like quite the job. Friday afternoon the problem with the Turn Two loop was mentioned by International driver, SEBASTIEN BOURDAIS/No.88 TeamVodafone Holden. We’ll see how the retrofit works.

There are people everywhere on the wide winding paths behind the pit lane and all throughout the park.

Time for morning V8 qualifying.
