Monday the F1 pit lane and paddock were really bustling with activity at Albert Park in Melbourne Australia, in preparation for this weekend’s second round of Formula One – the 2010 Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix. For the first time in my memory, all the equipment and cars were at the track Monday and being unloaded. The six 747 Jumbo Freighters flew in over the weekend to Avalon, and BILL GIBSON and his trust crew got it all moved to the circuit. Five planes contained the cars and equipment for the 12 teams, and one plane was dedicated to TV. Bits and pieces will keep arriving in the next few days.
